Recently a new research report from KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo surfaced, with plans about Apple’s 2016 iPhone launches, including the rumoured A9-based 4-inch iPhone and a 3GB RAM iPhone 7 Plus.
According to this report Apple has a new 4-inch iPhone in the making that has a similar design to the iPhone 5s. Although equipped with an A9 processor, it will not include 3D Touch support like the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus. This is to keep the two products as their own. Apple aims to release the new product in the first half next year and could ship 20-30 million units through the end of 2016.

Celcom have announced that they will be offering the Apple iPhone 6s from RM1058 and the Apple iPhone 6s Plus from RM1478 on FIRST by Celcom plans for Malaysian subscribers. In addition to the existing Internet and Celcom Wifi data, Celcom will also be offering 12GB of complimentary data at 1GB per month for the next 12 months. That's not all, as customers can also trade-in their current devices for discounts of up to RM1900. Considering that even the iPhone 6s with 16GB storage is going for RM3199, this is a fairly good deal. The official sale will begin tonight at 12am on 16 October 2015, but those who want their new iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus or an iPhone 5s on a FIRST by Celcom plan should go check out the Blue Cube@Sunway Pyramid, Blue Cube Publika, Celcom Centre Taman Molek, Johor Bahru and Blue Cube Elit Avenue Bayan Baru, Penang starting from the same date. The Apple iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus are finally available for pre-order at DiGi. The iPhone 6 will be available from RM1181 while the iPhone 6 Plus will go from RM1516. If you don't mind paying more every month you can also get the iPhone 6 from RM557 or the iPhone 6 Plus at RM892 on the iDiGi 238 plan. As usual, you will be expected to sign up for a 24 month contract but thankfully there are a lot of postpaid plans you can choose from and you can either pay on a 0% installment plan or the full amount. Regardless of which smartphone or payment amount you choose, DiGi will begin deliveries on 6 November 2014. If you've been on a DiGi Postpaid plan for 12 months or more you don't have to pay the Advance Payment. Check out the table and links in this article for more details.
