HUAWEI has been quiet for a while in the smartphone industry. Now, the company is seemingly making a return by launching the sixth entry for the Mate 40 series, the Mate 40E Pro. However, it might have run into some issues as the device is said to feature a dated Kirin chip.

It seems that Huawei has recently unveiled the Huawei P40 4G smartphone which comes equipped with the Kirin 990 4G chipset, and it’s priced at RMB3398 (~RM2127). Unfortunately, there is no official information in regards to whether the smartphone will be available in the local market.

It's already looking like Windows 10 on ARM computers will be a big trend in 2021. There are a few rumours about brands working on laptops with ARM-based chipsets and Huawei is one of them. In fact, a new leak suggests that there would be a Huawei laptop featuring a Kirin 990 chipset.

The Huawei P40 Pro+ is equipped with the Kirin 990 5G chipset coupled with 8GB of RAM and a 512GB of internal storage. The key feature of this top liner will be its Nano-Tech Ceramic material on the back cover to make it more durable with anti-fingerprint stain coating as well.

Near the end of May, Huawei opened up pre-orders for the P40 Pro+ in China, which proved that a global release was imminent. That's exactly what was announced today, with Huawei Malaysia confirming that the device will be available in Malaysia on 26 June 2020 for RM4999.

HONOR has officially unveiled the HONOR Play4 series, which starts from the price of RMB1799 (~RM1078) while the Pro variant starts from RMB2899 (~RM1737). Unfortunately, there is no official information in terms of the Malaysia release date and local pricing for now.

It seems that the tech specs of the upcoming HONOR Play4 Pro, which is due to be unveiled on 3 June 2020 has been spotted on TENAA earlier today. In addition to that, it seems that the aforementioned smartphone will come with 5G and 40W fast charging support.

HONOR has been on a roll lately. Not long after the launch of the HONOR 30S, the company swiftly followed up with the Malaysian release of the HONOR MagicBook, MagicWatch 2, and 9X Pro. And today, the company finally unveiled its latest flagship HONOR 30, HONOR 30 Pro and HONOR 30 Pro Plus smartphones.

Now that Honor has launched the Honor 30S and Honor 9A, the company turns its attention to the next in line for launch. The Honor 30 series is set to launch on 15 April 2020 but details are being leaked way in advance. Recently, a new benchmark entry was found on Geekbench and it could be for the upcoming Honor 30 Pro.

Huawei has just launched the Huawei MatePad Pro at the price of RM2399. The tablet is available for pre-order starting from 3 April until 10 April 2020 along with up to RM1000 of bundle gifts, and it will be shipped out to customers starting from 11 April 2020 onwards.
