PC handheld gaming consoles with the likes of the ROG Ally series, Lenovo Legion Go and others are a great idea for gamers who want a portable PC gaming device. However, Windows 11 optimisation leaves a lot to be desired. And thankfully, Valve is going to save it with SteamOS.

Yesterday, the ROG Ally X (2024)'s local pricing was leaked earlier than expected. Officially, it's priced at RM4,299 and if you plan to upgrade or buy this latest variant now, you can bring home some pre-order promotion bundles.

The campaign period begins from the 17th of July until the 31st of July 2024. During this period, gamers can get themselves a pre-order bundle worth RM658, which includes ROG ALLY Premium Hard Case, ROG Gaming Charger Dock & Screen Protector, while stock lasts. You can pre-order it online exclusively on this web portal here.

In the middle of this year, ASUS showed an update to their PC mobile console, known as ROG Ally X. Details of the console were shown during the Computex Taipei event where it will be powered by an AMD Ryzen Z1 Extreme processing chip, 24GB of LPDDR5X memory, storage 1TB PCIe 4.0 SSD and a bigger battery.

Finally after some time, ASUS ROG officially unveiled the new ROG Ally X. Do keep in mind that it's not a new successor but rather a new upgraded version of the ROG Ally. Here's everything you need to know about the revamped PC gaming console device.

The Computex event will start in just a few days. Various computer manufacturers will reveal many types of computers, mobile consoles, AI devices and more. Among the many looking forward to is the ASUS ROG Ally X, which is the most popular Windows mobile console right now.

Previously, we reported some tech specs leak about the ROG Ally X. However, this latest one by VideoCardz.com is probably the best one as it's regarding the battery life. 

While we anticipate the reveal of the ROG Ally X on 2 June 2024, The Verge managed to get some hands-on experience with the revamped gaming device. No photos were shown but as far as we can tell, the ROG Ally X is an improvement. 

Last Friday, ASUS Republic of Gamers confirmed the existence of a new ROG Ally. Although it's not the ROG Ally 2 that we initially thought but rather, it's called the ROG Ally X as a buffed-up version of the current model. 

As advertised, ASUS Republlic of Gamers (ROG) will indeed reveal a new ROG Ally gaming console. Turns out that it won't be called the ROG Ally 2 but rather the ROG Ally X with several improvements. It will be unveiled on 2 June 2024 which is just before Computex 2024 launches.

It's been almost a year since the ROG Ally was introduced and just today, ASUS ROG just confirmed that "The Next ROG Ally" will be announced soon. A YouTube video is already scheduled online and will go live tomorrow (10 May) at 3 AM in Malaysia's timezone.
