This week, quite a few official announcements happened with the Honor 8 arriving with its rumoured 2.5D glass front and back, the ASUS ZenFone 3 Laser and ZenFone 3 Max getting their official marching orders in Vietnam while Samsung came out with their Galaxy J Max, Galaxy J2, Galaxy J1 Ace Neo, Galaxy On5 Pro, Galaxy On7 Pro, Galaxy S7 edge Olympic Edition and UFS microSDs. So last week, we receive a tip from Mr. Anonymous and speculated that the Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro could be arriving in Malaysia last Friday but nothing really happened (it was just a rumour after all). At the end of last month, we reported that the Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro (SM-A910F) got a WiFi Alliance's certification which means that it will release an international version soon. How soon? Might be sooner than you think, since it just got a Bluetooth Special Interest Group (SIG) certification hinting a launch.

Back in March, the Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro was revealed in China for 3599 Yuan (around RM2188) and it has now been granted certification by WiFi Alliance to a Samsung SM-A910F, which is believed to be an international version of the pre-existing (SM-A9100) model. The Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro has officially made it, with an official listing in China for 3599 RMB (RM2188). The largest of the Samsung Galaxy A (2016) series, it packs in a 6-inch fHD display but retains the same look and feel as the other Galaxy A (2016) smartphones like the Galaxy A5 (2016) andGalaxy A7 (2016). No Malaysia release dates or pricing details but it should reach local third-party sellers before arriving officially in Malaysia.

It's not so long ago that the Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro's benchmark score from AnTuTu appeared on Weibo last week, we got some idea on the specifications too and just recently FCC just certified the device (so did TENAA) so we can expect to see the device coming soon perhaps before mid-year or so.
