With the Apple iPhone 11 series introduced, there are new camera features such as the 12MP ultra-wide lens, Slofie (slow-motion selfie), along with the existing 4K video recording at 60fps. These are all pretty cool features but you will need a good data plan to keep it up as well, but before we get into that - let's take a look at how iPhone photo and video quality have evolved over the years.

So...it's August already! But things have been a bit quiet. I mean, there are some news here and there, the Vivo S1 got officially launch in public yesterday at the Vivo SuperDay Roadshow Event, then Xiaomi Malaysia also got to show its new pure stock Android Mi A3 smartphone (which nobody really seems to care for some reason), same goes to the Black Shark 2 Pro that was revealed in China (which unfortunately still loses the favour against the ROG Phone 2, according to our fans). Besides the phone news, we got a Malaysian Pokemon fan making his own Pokemon game mod based on Malaysia so that's cool. 

Yeah so there's nothing much but just a heads up, here's what you can expect in this coming few weeks - many news about the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 series which will take place in New York and many, many Merdeka promo sales to come. Anyway, let's get started shall we? 

Can you believe that it's already July? We are now entering the second half of 2019 and...there isn't a lot going on except for many 7.7 sales, especially on Shopee's platform. Today, U Mobile made a big announcement by going full force into the e-wallet lifestyle. The orange telco has launched two new digital financial services in Malaysia called GoPayz and GoBiz, serving as a new cashless platform for U Mobile customers and a corporate digital financial service program for the latter.

While there are some rumours here and there, the only news that are worth talking about are Samsung QLED 8K TV series has arrived in Malaysia, budget-friendly Google Pixel 3a and 3a XL were announced, Telenor and Axiata have merged together as one, and Facebook Dating is now live on your app.

Today, U Mobile Sdn Bhd has just signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with TIME dotCom. This is due to U Mobile's 5G initiative and if you have been following the news, the company has already conduct 5G trials with TIME's involvement, this will speed up the high speed and low latency backhaul solution.

Today, in conjunction with U Mobile’s new 4G new network expansion, they are celebrating it with their customers with a new Money-Back-Guarantee 7-Day Trial. In other words, customers are able to try out their postpaid plans with #UCubaTry and get their money back after 7 days! In addition, there’s also a RM0.99 Smartphone Bundle and Mobile Number Portability (MNP) Rebate which we will get to later.

Opensignal is back with their Mobile Network Experience Report for April 2019 and this time Maxis and Celcom are vying for the top spot with each retaining clear positions like Download Speed Experience (Maxis) and 4G Availability (Celcom). Both are neck and neck in Video Experience though while Maxis retains best Latency Experience and Celcom achieves best Upload Speed experience, for a draw for top spot.
