This week, the much teased HTC 10 was officially launched and while there is still no Malaysian release date or pricing details, the value-beating ViVo V3Max made its Malaysian debut with 4GB of RAM, a fingerprint reader and more for just RM1399. Other notable Malaysia releases include the Canon EOS 1D X Mark II and a new line-up of Sony BRAVIA 4K HDR TVs. Not released for Malaysia but still officially announced was the Meizu Pro 6.
On the Telco Front, quite a few big names started up new battles like Celcom's new 18GB of Internet FIRST Platinum postpaid plan, Digi's RM80 for 10GB Internet update and U Mobile's roaming backpack. Celcom also announced their new Wonderoam roaming plan along with an extension of their FIRST Gold plan. Maxis also stayed true to their word with an update for their SurfMore 50 customers while overhyped WeBe just turned out to be a rebrand of P1, minus any concrete details or plans.

Today, Vivo has revealed the Vivo V3Max for RM1399 only (inclusive of GST) and although the device is already on pre-order in Malaysia since 6 April onwards until 14 April (2016), the device will be up for retail sale on 15 April at every authorized vivo dealers nationwide. Vivo recently launched not one but two new smartphones in India, Mumbai. The devices are known as the Vivo V3 and V3 Max where both are priced at Rs17980 (RM1057) and Rs23980 (RM1409) respectively. There will be two main notable features that Vivo is trying to promote with this products, one is their version of speedy fingerprint recognition, and another is a split-screen feature for multitasking purposes. Besides that, Vivo claimed that these devices are also capable of playing up to 2 hours music playback with only 5 minutes of charging.

Just over the weekends, Vivo V3 and V3 Max were spotted on TENAA revealing some specifications. According to the list, it revealed the device will feature a 1.5GHz octa-core CPU, 3GB RAM, 32GB internal memory, 5.5-inch TFT Full HD display and Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OS out of the box. It appears the rear back will have a fingerprint sensor as well and the device measures 153.90 × 77.10 × 7.58mm and weighs 168g.
