For customers who roams a lot, Celcom has just updated their international roaming offering. It is now called Celcom Passports, and it is available from RM 18 a day for postpaid customers and RM10 for prepaid customers.

This week, the much teased HTC 10 was officially launched and while there is still no Malaysian release date or pricing details, the value-beating ViVo V3Max made its Malaysian debut with 4GB of RAM, a fingerprint reader and more for just RM1399. Other notable Malaysia releases include the Canon EOS 1D X Mark II and a new line-up of Sony BRAVIA 4K HDR TVs. Not released for Malaysia but still officially announced was the Meizu Pro 6.
On the Telco Front, quite a few big names started up new battles like Celcom's new 18GB of Internet FIRST Platinum postpaid plan, Digi's RM80 for 10GB Internet update and U Mobile's roaming backpack. Celcom also announced their new Wonderoam roaming plan along with an extension of their FIRST Gold plan. Maxis also stayed true to their word with an update for their SurfMore 50 customers while overhyped WeBe just turned out to be a rebrand of P1, minus any concrete details or plans.

Today, Celcom Axiata Berhad has launched a new roaming service called WONDEROAM for Celcom subscribers who travels often and needs data to keep connected at a flat rate, there are three different Wonderoam plans which are WONDEROAM 1 Day Social RM10 (XPAX), WONDEROAM 1 Day Internet RM38 (Celcom), and WONDEROAM 1 Week RM138 (Celcom). These new plans offer customers optimal prices as well as assuring them that they will have no bill shock after coming back.

Leaked images of Celcom's upcoming roaming plan details have revealed that we may not only get a roaming plan called Wonderoam with 1 weeks worth of roaming for RM138 but also that Celcom may be coming out with an upgrade to their current FiRST Gold postpaid plan, the Celcom FiRST Platinum plan. The leaked image does not reveal too many details about the Wonderoam roaming plan, but RM138 for a weeks worth of high speed mobile Internet overseas sounds like a very high value proposition.
