Thanks to its "affordable" price tag and not-too-far tech specs, it certainly gained favour from the consumers and obviously, this calls for a new successor which has no official name yet, but sources say that it will be called iPhone XR2 (or the 11R that was shown on the image, so we are just gonna call it that).

A supply chain in China claims that Apple may be working on a more affordable version of the iPhone without their iconic Face ID. Sources say that it may instead come with an under-display (UD) fingerprint reader to keep costs low and notches smaller (a definite plus if this were to happen).

eSIM seems to be making its way to become a trend. Maxis and Celcom already have their own eSIM package and the latest player to enter this market is Yoodo. Yoodo consumers can sign-up and register without going to a store, as they can just do it from the comfort of their homes through the Yoodo app.

Today, Celcom has announced that its own eSIM (embedded SIM) package is now available. According to their website, only three phones are eligible for eSIM which are the Apple iPhone XS 64GB, iPhone XS Max 64GB and the iPhone XR 64GB model starting from RM58 per month.

Apple recently updated their rules on the “Shot on iPhone” contest stating that “winners will receive a licensing fee for use on billboards and other Apple marketing channels”. In this short announcement, it seems that Shopee will also have its own Apple iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max and the iPhone XR official launch sales online. According to its online platform, they are giving a 5% off for all three models and Apple Malaysia warranty is also covered. With the 5% implementation, the starting price is RM3419.05 (XR), followed by RM4749.05 (XS) and finally RM5129.05 (XS Max). Alternatively, you can also choose to have a monthly instalment plan for 12 months starting from RM340.34 (0% interest).
