My E.G. Services Bhd (MyEG) yesterday launched the ‘Compare by MyEG x NFT Pangolin’ initiative which would give users free commemorative customisable non-fungible tokens (NFTs) to users of its ‘Compare by MyEG’ service. The company hopes that the initiative can help promote the use of NFTs and make it more accessible to everyone.

Malaysians may soon be able to own their vehicle registration number and other mainstream assets as a non-fungible token (NFT) after My E.G. Service Bhd (MyEG) announced that it is officialy entering the NFT space. The company yesterday launched NFT Pangolin, a marketplace that allows users to mint, sell and trade NFTs.
According to a report by The Star, NFT Pangolin currently supports ethereum and will operate on the Zetrix Layer 1 blockchain network after its launch in the near future. The latter serves as parallel chain to the International Backbone and Supernodes of Xinghuo, China’s national blockchain infrastructure.

Like many other countries around the world, Malaysia has started running clinical trials for COVID-19 vaccines. Currently, one of the vaccines our country will be procuring is from Phizer. But MYEG has also announced that it will also be working with another company to bring in a COVID-19 vaccine.

In this day and age, it only makes sense for more processes to go online. Having to skip going to a government office and queue up saves a lot of time, so it's great to see that the Jabatan Pengangkutan Jalan (JPJ) Malaysia making such a move. Specifically, the JPJ has announced that we'll soon be able to renew our driver's license on MyEG.

MyEG recently released a statement which was spotted on the Friends of MyEG Facebook page, stating that the COVID-19 rapid test kits that they’re offering on their official website are not fake and it's currently pending on approval from the Ministry of Health. Not only that, but they have also stated that the aforementioned kits are currently in use in regions such as China, as well as Europe.
