Based on a list compiled by HuaweiCentral.com, it seems that there will are several Huawei Smartphones that will be receiving the EMUI 10 update in March 2020. While there is no exact date on which exact smartphones will receive the update, we can expect most of the smartphones listed below to receive the updates by the end of this month.

Set to be released in the near future, Huawei’s upcoming budget device may be called the Huawei P20 Lite (2019) and may replace the previous Huawei P20 Lite. What makes it interesting is the fact that this upcoming budget smartphone may be released with a quad rear camera setup at a price tag starting from 279 Euro (~RM1269).

Some worked, some are gimmicky, so in this article, we will be taking a look back at some of the major technologies that Huawei introduced over the past months. DxOMark has recently released tests results for the Huawei Mate 20 Pro and determined that the device is ranked as one of the top camera smartphones currently available in the market next to the Huawei P20 Pro. Taking a closer look at the test results of both the smartphones mentioned, they both managed to score similar overall results in the Photography department. The video aspect, on the other hand, the Huawei P20 Pro tops the Mate 20 Pro by just one point overall.

DxOMark recently weighed in with their analysis of 2018, particularly for cameraphones and smartphone cameras. While the reigning champion Huawei P20 Pro remains at the top with a score of 109 and LEICA Triple rear cameras, all of the top 5 cameraphones of 2018 utilized multiple camera setups including the Apple iPhone XS Max at 2nd place, HTC U12 Plus at 3rd, Samsung Galaxy Note 9 in 4th and the Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 in 5th making it the year of the multicamera cameraphone.  

Huawei consumer BG has announced that the Chinese manufacturer has sold more than 200 million smartphones in the year of 2018, outselling 2017 by nearly 50 million units, pulling ahead of Apple in terms of sales 3 quarters in a row, retaining its number 2 spot as the second best smartphone brand internationally. This is largely due to the “out-of-the-box” thinking and design philosophy that Huawei did in order to design and manufacture their smartphones while retaining a "consumer-centric" focus on innovation.

The Huawei P20 was nothing short of great and it is no surprise that many are waiting for the Huawei P30. It is tipped that this smartphone may be powered by Huawei’s brand new flagship SoC, that is seem to be called the Kirin 985 and it may be out sooner than we think, according to the editor of XDA Developers.

Camera-focused site DxOMark have come out with their review of the Apple iPhone XS Max, giving it a rating of 105 (a good 4 points lower than the 109 1st-place scoring Huawei P20 Pro). Granted, this is much higher than the 97 scored by the iPhone X, as they remark that the 6.5-inch display iPhone XS Max uses a larger 1.4µm pixels sensor with improved image processing, enabling zero shutter lag and real-time HDR preview.
