According to a report by Korean media outlet DealSite, Apple is said to have given in to Samsung’s RAM offer despite a 100% price increase. That said, what should you know about it?

Samsung Pay has been in Malaysia for a few years already. Today, Samsung Malaysia is excited to announce that this service has expanded beyond in-store payments in Malaysia, now supporting online transactions across a wide range of e-commerce merchants.

This week, Samsung was ordered to pay a penalty of $601 million (~RM 2.66 billion) to the Indian government after being found to have evaded paying tariffs on telecommunications equipment brought into the country. Samsung received a warning notice in 2023 after the equipment was sold to local telecommunications company Reliance Jio.

Previously, we reported that the open payment system is now operational at KTM Komuter stations, with payments via MyDebit incurring an RM30 temporary pre-authorisation. Now, KTMB has announced further details on its plans to improve the system, including support for Apple Pay and Samsung Pay.
