Today, Huawei Malaysia has introduced two new devices aimed at users who value mobility and performance, with the debut of the HUAWEI MatePad Mini and the HUAWEI Watch GT Runner 2. The launch highlights Huawei’s push to deliver compact productivity and advanced fitness tracking through refined hardware and ecosystem integration.

TECNO has unveiled a major upgrade to its AIoT ecosystem at MWC 2026, alongside three new devices: the TECNO MEGAPAD 2 AI tablet, TECNO Watch GT 1S flagship smartwatch, and TECNO FreeHear 2 open-ear audio buds. Without further ado, here's what you need to know about the new products.

Huawei Malaysia has confirmed that its latest wearables — the HUAWEI WATCH GT 6 Series and the HUAWEI WATCH Ultimate 2 — will officially arrive in Malaysia on 29 September 2025. Both models were first unveiled at the global launch event in Paris, and they’re now set to bring advanced features, premium design, and powerful performance to local consumers.

Not long ago, HUAWEI launched its second generation of the foldable device, Mate Xs 2, in China after two years since we had the Mate Xs. Surprisingly, the device will be coming to Malaysia earlier than we thought, and the date is set to be on 18 May.

According to studies and research from Mount Sinai Health System, Stanford University and other reputable medical and academic institutions, smartwatches from Apple, Garmin and Fitbit can detect COVID-19 infections up to 7 days before the symptoms start appearing. Basically, any wearables like the Amazfit GTS 2 or GTR 2 can do the same, but we will get to that later.

Other than the Huawei Mate 40 series that was just unveiled, Huawei also announced the Huawei Porsche Design Watch GT2 which is priced at 695 Euro (~RM3406) which comes with largely the same features as the original GT2, except for a more luxurious design. Not only that, but there’s also the Huawei FreeBuds Studio at 299 Euros (~RM1465), which is a pair headphones which is capable of achieving up to 24 hours of continuous playback on a single full charge.

Just yesterday, we posted about Huawei Malaysia releasing three new devices soon which are the Freebuds Pro, Watch GT 2 Pro and Mate T10s. Officially launched today, the price tag for each has also been revealed - RM699, RM1199 and RM999 respectively.

Huawei Malaysia has officially announced that the Huawei FreeBuds Pro, WATCH GT 2 Pro, as well as the MatePad T 10s, will be available in Malaysia starting 10 October 2020 onwards. Those who are interested in getting any of the devices mentioned can purchase over to any Huawei Experience Stores located across Malaysia or at Huawei’s Online store.

Back in August, we’ve spotted the HUAWEI Watch GT 2 Pro on multiple certifications and one of them was SIRIM Malaysia and it might be launching alongside the HUAWEI Mate40 series.  Today, there’s a new leak on it which finally unveiled the design and outlook of the smartwatch with the highlighted long-lasting battery life.

HUAWEI has launched the sportier-looking HUAWEI Watch GT 2e in April and a month later, a trademark application was filed for “Mate Watch” that will run on HarmonyOS alongside with the Mate40 series. But today, we’ve found out multiple certifications not just in other countries but from Malaysia as well for a new smartwatch named as the Watch GT 2 Pro.
