So...it's August already! But things have been a bit quiet. I mean, there are some news here and there, the Vivo S1 got officially launch in public yesterday at the Vivo SuperDay Roadshow Event, then Xiaomi Malaysia also got to show its new pure stock Android Mi A3 smartphone (which nobody really seems to care for some reason), same goes to the Black Shark 2 Pro that was revealed in China (which unfortunately still loses the favour against the ROG Phone 2, according to our fans). Besides the phone news, we got a Malaysian Pokemon fan making his own Pokemon game mod based on Malaysia so that's cool.
Yeah so there's nothing much but just a heads up, here's what you can expect in this coming few weeks - many news about the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 series which will take place in New York and many, many Merdeka promo sales to come. Anyway, let's get started shall we?

We covered multiple MWC stuff that happened over the past few days, our boy, Jim managed to have a first impression + hands-on experience of the foldable Huawei Mate X smartphone, the untouchable (literally) Sony Xperia 1 and Xperia 10 series, the penta-camera Nokia 9 PureView, the 48MP Xiaomi Mi 9, an 18,000mAh Energizer smartphone, and many more MWC 2019 stuff (which you can find on our search engine). Also not forgetting the new vivo V15 Pro release in Malaysia on Super Brand Day, and of course - the Samsung Galaxy S10 series has officially launched in Malaysia!

What's uppppp TechNaversss! NewBytes is back and it's gonna be our first 2019 edition! It's a bit late but we had a slow startup and now we are picking up some steam. Vivo and Alibaba’s Tmall are teaming up to manufacture an upcoming smartphone due to release around late Q4 2018. By utilizing Alibaba’s customer base of more than 500 million users, both Tmall and Vivo are able to develop a smartphone that is catered towards their target demographic of users. Vivo and Tmall have already kicked start their partnership by setting up an innovation lab where both parties are able to collaborate and develop the upcoming generations of Vivo smartphones.
