At the recent 2025 Proton Tech Showcase 2025, national automaker Proton previewed the eMAS 7’s first plug-in hybrid variant, dubbed eMAS 7 PHEV. Market expectations suggest the SUV could launch at a price starting around RM130000 to RM140000, positioning it roughly RM20–30k above the existing SUV in Proton’s lineup, the Proton X50.
