It seems that Samsung recently unveiled the Samsung Galaxy W21 5G smartphone, which is a quad-fold smartphone in China at the price of RMB19999 (~RM12506). Unfortunately, there is no official information in regards to the price, as well as whether the aforementioned smartphone will be available outside of China.

Last year, Samsung have launched the Galaxy Fold with China Telecom and it was renamed the Samsung W20 5G. So we are not surprised that the Galaxy Z Fold 2 is rename as Samsung W21 5G and it is going to launch on 4 November in China.

In this week's tech news recap, Samsung stole the show by unpacking the latest Samsung Galaxy Note10 and Note10+! Compared with the predecessor, it has several new features such as the S Pen Air Action, AR Doodle, PlayGalaxy Link, 3D Scanner and many more. In continuing its recent Rileks, Beli Je campaign, HONOR Malaysia has just announced some new price tags on three smartphones. Promoting the HONOR View20, 8X and the 8C, the new price has gone as low as RM549 and even the high-end variant is below RM2K.

With HONOR 20 releasing in Malaysia for a couple of days now, HONOR Malaysia is also announcing some new OS updates for its smartphone lineup which include EMUI 9.1 and Magic UI 2.1. The Magic UI 2.1 is only for the HONOR View20, though, while EMUI 9.1 will be coming out on nine HONOR devices. 

Depending on the smartphone price range, there is only so much a smartphone can do. For example, a phone that's around RM500 would only have a memory capacity of 3GB + 32GB at most. And if you want the whole package, you probably have to spend 1-2 months of salary for a device that costs easily over RM3K. Is there no balance?
