Do you prefer watching movies or playing video games? Well, according to a new survey report by the Entertainment Software Association (ESA), 63% of Gen Z individuals prefer gaming to watching movies.

Apparently, Samsung Display showed off their “Flex In & Out” 360 degree foldable display concept to certain media during CES 2023 and it’s got a number of benefits that would be great for the next Samsung Galaxy Fold Z. Built using a teardrop hinge the prototype can fold both ways and is designed to decrease the crease significantly.

Some might have been disappointed by Samsung's decision to not use an under-display fingerprint scanner on the Galaxy Z Fold3. Rather than that, the company opted for an old-school side scanner for necessary security. However, with the upcoming Z Fold4, the Korean tech giant might take one step further than an under-display fingerprint scanner by using one that scans on both sides.

Another year, another iteration of Samsung’s foldable display flagships, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold series. This year, it’s the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3 which is surprisingly enough, more affordable at RM6699 and also lighter, supposedly tougher and IPX8 water resistant. Yesterday, we reported that both the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3 5G and Galaxy Z Flip3 5G pre-orders were a big hit. In just South Korea alone, it was estimated that both devices have surpassed expectations and Samsung Malaysia had to restock the Galaxy Z Fold3 units just a few days ago.

As the 3rd iteration in Samsung’s foldable display Galaxy Z Flip series of smartphones, the new and improved Samsung Galaxy Z Flip3 seems to tick all the checkboxes this time around. This includes a tougher overall design, IPX8 Water resistance and a significantly more affordable price tag from RM3999 (the first Galaxy Z Flip came in at RM5888 on preorder).

Samsung has officially announced that the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3 and the Galaxy Z Flip3 smartphones that are priced from RM3999 and RM6699 respectively, will be available for pre-order from 19 August until 21 September 2021.
