While we've yet to hear about the next generation of the ASUS ZenFone, it appears that the next generation of the ASUS ZenFone Go, the ASUS ZenFone Go 2 has appeared as the X015D at China's TENAA. Tech specs are surprisingly high-end for the usual entry-level ZenFone Go with 3GB RAM / 32GB storage and 4GB RAM / 64GB storage versions. Other tech specs include a 1.5Ghz octa-core processor, 5.5-inch HD display, 4G LTE and very large 4850 mAh battery.

Sometimes, all you want is a device with a big screen and the ASUS ZenFone 2 Laser ZE601KL certainly fulfils this need with its 6-inch full HD display. Asides from that it also offers up the highest tech specs in the ZenFone 2 Laser range while maintaining the laser autofocus available in the entire range. As usual per the countdown to their Computex Zenvolution event, ASUS have released a teaser video, this time for their ASUS ZenFone 3. Thanks to previous leaks we know that the ZenFone 3 series will have a metal frame with glass front and back but the video confirms a fingerprint sensor on the back as well, perhaps not for all of the ZenFone 3 models. Other tech specs weren't detailed but so far we know that there will be at least 3 variants (ZenFone 3, Max and Deluxe), they will likely feature Qualcomm or MediaTek processors and be announced on 30 May 2016.

Released nearly a year later after its initial announcement, the final form of the ASUS ZenFone Zoom ZX551ML offers the world's thinnest 3x optical zoom cameraphone, but more than that it is the culmination of all the major elements that made up the ASUS ZenFone 2 series. Combining 4GB of RAM and the most powerful Intel Atom processor on a ZenFone with laser autofocus and the aforementioned 3x optical zoom, the ZenFone Zoom is technically the ultimate ASUS ZenFone 2 smartphone of the bunch. While it was announced last year in 2015, it looks like ASUS are confirming that a number of devices will be getting the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update by Q2 of 2016. New additions since previously include the ZenFone Zoom and Max but it also appears that certain ASUS ZenUI apps like ASUS Messenger, ASUS Mail and ASUS Calender will be replaced by their Google apps as the default apps. You can redownload these apps and install them with a factory reset after the update though.

ASUS Malaysia have just launched the long awaited ASUS ZenFone Zoom. While it was announced earlier with the other ASUS ZenFone 2 Laser devices, the 6-inch display ASUS ZenFone 2 Laser ZE601KL has yet to make an official appearance in Malaysia. Well, it looks like the roll-out has begun with the ZE601KL now available in India for 17999 INR (RM1131). Notable tech specs and features asides from the 6-inch FHD display is that it will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 processor and either 2GB RAM with 16GB storage or 3GB RAM with 32GB storage along with a 13MP rear camera with laser autofocus and a 5MP front camera.
