Apple has recently posted an update on their official website stating that any iPhone 11 smartphones that were manufactured between November 2019 and May 2020, may experience issues where their display might become unresponsive. With that being said, Apple mentioned that any unit of iPhone 11 between the dates mentioned will be eligible for a display module replacement, free of charge.

The Italian Competition Authority (AGCM) has fined Apple €10 million (~RM48.7 million) for misleading water-resistance claims in their ad. The regulator said the company was not being clear enough about these claims. These claims can only be done in certain circumstances, such as controlled lab tests with pure water.

Based on a video by MobileReviewEh, it seems that the iPhone 12’s ceramic shield cover glass is much more durable compared to last year’s iPhone 11 glass. To go into more specific, the video mentioned that the iPhone 12 was able to bear up to 442 newtons of force before shattering while the iPhone 11 was able to stand up to 352 newtons of force.

A recent statement by wccftech.com seems hints that Apple could drastically reduce the price of the iPhone 11 as soon as the iPhone 12 is unveiled sometime in the near future. While there is no official information on whether the price change will affect customers in Malaysia, we do know that the iPhone 11 is expected to start from the price of USD549 (~RM2294).
