Fans of Apple’s true wireless stereo earbuds have been waiting for the tech giant to update its AirPods Pro for some time now, with a rumoured refresh never came to be over the past two years. If the latest rumour is to be believed however, the AirPods Pro 2 will be coming later this year and will feature USB Type-C.

Apple not using the USB-C port has been an issue for the European Committee. Recently, the law that forces every smartphone manufacturer to adopt USB-C ports for devices sold in the region has gained overwhelming support. Therefore, it might be one of the reasons for this new report to appear, saying Apple will eventually ditch the Lightning port for iPhone 15 in 2023.

The upcoming Apple iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max may finally come with a lightning connector that supports USB 3.0 speeds. This is according to a new leak by reliable tipster LeaksApplePro (via iDropNews).

We've already known how European Commission "loathes" the idea of Apple still relying on the Lightning cable to charge its devices. The tech giant has been told to ditch the Lightning cable and standardize its charging method by switching to USB-C, but it never happened. However, Apple might be forced to do it this time as the European Commission could present new legislation next month for the matter.

Today, realme Malaysia has announced a new partnership with Celcom for the realme 8 Pro. From now onwards, Celcom customers can get the phone for free with the blue telco's MEGA Lightning XL Pass at RM188 per month. 

The Celcom MEGA plan has been around for more than a year but today, the company has finally decided to expand it with new passes. From now onwards, customers who are subscribed to Family Lines can now choose Lightning or Unlimited passes to their preference or subscribe to new MEGA Unlimited and Lightning passes. This year, Apple has decided not to include the charger and EarPods in the box of the iPhone 12 series for environmental goals. Although it was first doubted by the consumers, the sale of the series is still going more than just well with the iPhone 12 Pro being out of stock globally.
