While Sony has more or less confirmed that a good number of PS4 titles can be played on a PS5. Unfortunately, the reverse won't be possible. The company has hinted that it has PS5 titles won't be playable on the PS4.

Sony PlayStation 5 is no doubt one of the hottest topics of the year in the gaming field. After hearing all of its powerful tech specs, everyone is now waiting to see how the gaming console is going to look like when it's announced. Earlier, Sony has already given us a taste by revealing the design of the DualSense, but we still don't know what features the controller will bring when in action. Just yesterday, someone posted up a video showing the interactions with the controller, and it's awesome plus somehow unrealistic.

Based on a statement by @PSErebus on Twitter, it seems that the Sony PlayStation 5 is expected to be unveiled on 20 November 2020. While not much is officially known in regards to the exact tech specs of the aforementioned console, we do know that it is expected to be priced at USD499 (~RM2162).

Based on a statement by former senior director Albert Penello, it seems that the upcoming Sony Playstation 5 is expected to be priced at around USD399(~RM1770) at launch. The aforementioned console is much cheaper compared to the upcoming Microsoft Xbox console, which will most likely be priced at RM499.

Based on a statement by mydrivers.com, it seems that the upcoming Sony PS5 Pro could be priced from 499USD(~RM2097) while the non-Pro variant could start from 399USD(~RM1677). While not much is fully confirmed in regards to the aforementioned console, it seems that the Pro variant could support resolutions up to 8K while the regular PS5 does not.

Based on a statement by HipHopGamer, the upcoming Sony Playstation 5 console will most likely be backwards compatible with previous generation consoles. This isn’t the first time we’ve heard of this feature as there were various rumours before, hinting the existence of this capability on previous consoles such as the PS4 Pro.

Based on a statement by wccftech.com and a Twitter user, the upcoming Sony Playstation 5 could have the same graphical performance as the Nvidia RTX 2080 graphics processor with a GPU clock speed of up to 2Ghz. While not much is known in regards to the actual tech specs of the console, it is rumoured that it could sport an AMD Ryzen processor as well as ray tracing capabilities.
