DJI Malaysia have officially announced that their DJI RS 3 Mini Travel Stabilizer gimbal for mirrorless cameras is now available for RM1549. Featuring a 1.4-inch colour touchscreen, Bluetooth shutter control, a 3rd generation stabilization algorithm, native horizontal and vertical switching, the DJI RS 3 Mini can support up to 2kg. 

After being teased by Xiaomi for the past couple of months, the Xiaomi Civi 2 is now officially released during a launch event in China today. The smartphone sports a 6.55-inch 120Hz AMOLED display with a full HD resolution and support for Dolby Vision.

HONOR have launched the Band 6 series in China and the company already started the pre-order. There are two version bands which are the standard and NFC version for CNY249 (~RM154) and CNY289 (~RM179) respectively. The only difference between the standard and NFC version, is that the latter allows the user to use NFC on 312 city buses and subways, and 100,000 community access control.

About two years ago, DJI introduced a compact recording device called the OSMO Pocket and it was really tiny. Fast forward until today, the DJI Pocket 2 is now released and this tiny guy here can record up to 4K resolution and more! Available at RM1549, interested buyers can pre-order this device now and it will be available for purchase on 1 November at DJI Malaysia Flagship store, authorised dealers, and DJI Malaysia’s official store on e-commerce platforms, such as Lazada and Shopee.

Last week, the tech specs for a new 5G OPPO device was found on Geekbench and TENAA. It was evident that this new OPPO A72 5G would be coming soon, but it looks like OPPO wanted to reveal it early. Yesterday, the new phone was quietly listed on OPPO China's online store with a retail price of 1899 yuan (~RM1154).

OPPO has just launched the OPPO F11 and OPPO F11 Pro in India, starting from the price of INR19990(~RM1154) and INR24990(~RM1443) respectively. Unsurprisingly, OPPO did not include the device with the new 10x Lossless Zoom technology that was recently showcased during MWC2019. However, we should expect phones after this release to include the aforementioned technology.

A wireless charging laptop? Well, actually it’s not really one but rather it uses a 2-in-1 dock charger to the wireless-compatible keyboard (#misleadingmarketing). But still, not using a charging cable is a nice welcome and the charging dock + wireless charging keyboard accessory cost $380 (~RM1632) and $200 (~RM860) respectively, whereas the laptop is $1200 (~RM5154).

Initially announced in February, the Xiaomi Mi 5 will soon be available in Malaysia for RM1549 starting from 18 June 2016 (via distributor Thorus Technology). Featuring tech specs that include a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, 3GB RAM, front fingerprint sensor, 16MP 4-axis OIS rear canera and a metal unibody frame with 3D glass back, the Mi 5 is still very relevant, especially for below RM1550

The folks at Mi Malaysia have just launched the Xiaomi Mi Note officially for Malaysia. The version with 64GB storage is priced at a fairly affordable RM1549 and available for purchase at 12pm on 28 July 2015. Initially revealed earlier in January 2015, the Mi Note combines a full metal unibody frame with a 3D glass back and 2.5D glass front (both using Corning Gorilla Glass) for a smartphone that still looks as stunning as ever. Standout features are the 6.95mm thin curved glass body, 13MP f/2.0 rear camera with OIS (Optical Image Stabilization) and Hi-Fi audio with dedicated audio chip. Other tech specs are a mix of old and new with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor, 3GB RAM, 64GB storage, a 5.7-inch display, 4G LTE connectivity and a 3000 mAh battery. The new RM1549 pricing is a lot better than previous third-party seller pricing around RM1669 especially since this version packs in 64GB of storage but since it is a localized version you also get 4K UHD video recording which was missing in the previous 16GB storage Xiaomi Mi Note we reviewed. While the HTC M8 Ace has more or less been confirmed by China's Tenaa, a new version of this supposedly plastic HTC One M8 could be coming to China soon. This smartphone is rumoured to be called the HTC M8 Ace Vogue with a launching date set to 3 June 2014. Pricing has been set at RMB3000 (RM1544) while tech specs are quite high-end. These tech specs include a 2.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor, 2GB RAM, 16GB / 32GB storage plus up to 128GB microSD support, 5-inch Super LCD 3 display with full HD 1080p resolution, BoomSound stereo speakers, a 13MP rear camera, 5MP front camera and 2600 mAh battery. No news yet about Malaysia release dates or pricing but it could be the midrange smartphone HTC is looking for to appeal to the masses.
