At the end of May, realme not only launched some new smartphones but as well as new smart life products such as the realme Watch. We were told that these products will be launching soon, as realme Malaysia will have their first AIoT Grand Launch livestream on 11 June 2020 on their Facebook page.

The new year has barely started but the phone launches are already coming fast. In fact, the realme 5i launched in Malaysia this week and it's an interesting option for people on a budget. Sporting a Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 chipset, 5000mAh battery, and a quad-camera setup of 12MP + 8MP + 2MP + 2MP - plenty of features all for RM599. That's quite a steal, to be honest!

Going head-to-head against the realme 5i is the vivo Y15 2020, which launched in late December 2019. It has quite a few similarities with the realme 5i, especially when it comes to the tech specs. With realme Malaysia continuing to expand its territory and making their brand well known, the latest news is that the company has open yet another new store, this time their first concept store at The Mines Shopping Mall together with its third image store at Setapak Central Mall last weekend.

Compared with the predecessor, it has several new features such as the S Pen Air Action, AR Doodle, PlayGalaxy Link, 3D Scanner and many more. Samsung Malaysia quickly soon announced the official local price starting from RM3699 and the series are now on pre-order which sold out quickly. Dayum son! We can't wait to get our hands on it for the review!!

Besides that, HONOR Malaysia shortly announced the HONOR 20 Pro price for RM2299 (not too shabby). Also, Huawei revealed its own HarmonyOS which can potentially replace Android and they should just do it anyway as a competition. Lastly, some #khabarbaik announcement by TM on new price slash for all Streamyx users at RM69/month and Unifi Air for RM79/month. Pretty cool, now onto the NewsBytes below.

Awhile back, Realme had teased a photo taken from their 64MP sensor and it was pretty impressive. Not too long after that, Redmi followed suit, showing off a photo of a cat taken with the world’s first 64MP smartphone camera. Samsung had also apparently hopped onto the bandwagon, with rumours mentioning that the Samsung Galaxy A70s may be equipped with the sensor. Now, the question is: Which company would be releasing their device first?

So...it's August already! But things have been a bit quiet. I mean, there are some news here and there, the Vivo S1 got officially launch in public yesterday at the Vivo SuperDay Roadshow Event, then Xiaomi Malaysia also got to show its new pure stock Android Mi A3 smartphone (which nobody really seems to care for some reason), same goes to the Black Shark 2 Pro that was revealed in China (which unfortunately still loses the favour against the ROG Phone 2, according to our fans). Besides the phone news, we got a Malaysian Pokemon fan making his own Pokemon game mod based on Malaysia so that's cool.
