Telekom Malaysia (TM) has added several services under the unifi brand name in the past few years. Among them would be the unifi fibre broadband, which has a large customer base in urban areas. unifi services have always been separated, but it looks like the company has decided to combine them into one.

If you've thought about getting a unifi fibre broadband plan, now may be the right time if reports are true. Telekom Malaysia would sometimes offer customers new deals for a limited time and they might be doing it again. This news started spreading when a leaked promo poster showed discounted rates for unifi plans, with the 30Mbps plan going for as little as RM39 per month.

Telekom Malaysia wants to take this chance to get more people to sign up to its fibre broadband service, so it has announced another free trial period for those who want to sign up to unifi Home now.

At the moment, the Conditional Movement Control Order is scheduled to "end" on 9 June 2020 but don't get your hopes up just yet. Despite this, unifi will continue to serve the rakyat until the said date and in the midst of this, the company have come up with a new platform - Ramadan-Raya. The company said this new platform will continue to allow consumers and businesses to stay connected while the CMCO is on-going, also judging from the website, this new platform seems to be free to use.
